~ My Favorite Shows ~

My absolute favorite show to watch is "19 Kids and Counting". It is so refreshing to watch a show about a family that stands on the Word of God. They don't compromise their beliefs just to please the television audience. Even though I don't embrace everything that they do (wearing skirts all of the time, matching shirts, etc.), I don't knock it. It's not my thing, but I don't think that anything is wrong with it. I think it is awesome that they stand for modesty and purity. I told Derrick the other day that Michelle Duggar is someone with whom I would want to be friends. He replied by saying that, even though we may never meet them on this earth, we will spend eternity with them! It makes me think of all of the other people that I will never meet on earth that I will know for eternity. :-D

Second, I love "Dirty Jobs". There are a few reasons that I love the show. 1) Mike Rowe reminds me of my father-in-law. 2) Chuck and I would watch this show together. 3) Mike Rowe is a man's man. 4) Mike Rowe is freakin' hilarious. 5) The dirty jobs that Mike and his camera/sound crew get pulled into are jobs that I'm everyday-thankful that somebody else has. My favorite episode is the one at the down factory with the old lady. "Everything you say should be on a t-shirt, woman."

Third ~ CASH CAB! I am going to take a trip to NYC just to be on a quest for the Cash Cab. I love it when people decide to NOT go for the bonus round and Ben Bailey says, "Good idea". Ha ha ha ha! That translates into, "you're lucky that you got the money that you did".

Fourth ~ Little People, Big World. There's no major explanation there. I just like it.

Fifth ~ The Biggest Loser. As much as I do love this show, it's 2 hours long. I don't have the time to watch all of it. I usually make it for the weigh-in.

I don't always get to watch these shows. "19 Kids" is the only one that I actually take the full time to watch. The others I just catch as I go. Needless to say, I'm attracted to reality television.
