I had a doctor's appointment yesterday. It was with one of the other doctors in the practice, Dr. Pittman. She's a sweet, beautiful woman that looks too young to be a doctor. She delivered my friend's baby not too long ago, so I know she's fabulous. ANYWAY...she told me that she was concerned that I was not gaining enough weight. I was kind of puzzled. I told her that I had been eating plenty and maybe it was because of the move here and whatever. And she said, "Well, you've only gained 1 lb.". HUH??? Then it clicked and I told her that I've only been coming to the doctor here since 20 weeks and that I spent the first 20 in Mexico. But still...1 lb. in 4 weeks makes me happy. Hopefully it continues at that rate.
