Christy Miranda...

...is my sister-in-law. She will be 30 in 16 days. She is a complete joy and delight to everyone that meets her. She's referred to as "Auntie Christy" by my kids. She has cerebral palsy.

It has been a tough 30 years for my in-laws. But along with tough times comes character and an ever-increasing faith in God. Since she can't speak in a form that we understand (except for the random word here and there), it has been even more of a challenge. Trying to understand what is going on when she is sick has been a challenge for my in-laws. I swear that my mother-in-law could be a pharmacist with her extensive knowledge of medicine, due to all of the medications that Christy has taken.

Right now, Christy is in the hospital. A week or so before going into the hospital, she didn't want to eat or drink. Getting to the point of dehydration, my mom-in-law took her to the emergency room and now she is in the hospital.

She's has a feeding tube. But she keeps throwing up. She isn't keeping anything down. The worst part of it all is that they don't know why. Therefore her and my mom-in-law remain up at the hospital, waiting for answers and growing more weary.

Please pray for them. Pray for Christy. Pray for my mom-in-law, that she will receive supernatural rest. Pray for the doctors, that they will receive wisdom and guidance as they take care of them.

Thank you!
