It is a cold day here in Guadalajara, Mexico! It gets cold at night, about 50-ish degrees. Our house stays cold all day long because we have tile floors, no insulation, and obviously no heat. We have space heaters but they don't do much good. Anyway...I was fixing lunch earlier and I felt a breeze coming through the crack of the door. I opened it to feel outside and it's very chilly...about 60 degrees.
Which leads me to another thought...I never thought that my body would have a hard time adjusting to no seasons. My body is seasonal. I love each and every season that Georgia has to offer. And it seems like everytime my body would get tired of a season, it was time for a new season. Now I have 2 seasons...dry & rainy. The temperatures don't change too drastically. I long for seasons. I want to feel a crisp, cold wind blowing across my face while I can see my breath in the air. I want to see, feel and play in snow. I don't see that happening anytime soon, though.
