It's God's Small World After All

God is really good at reminding me of what a small world it really is.  He holds the universe in His hands.  Our planet Earth is so small in light of the UNIVERSE. 

We have a family coming to stay with us for a few days.  Before they were married, she was a single missionary is a closed country.  She is from the States and attended the same bible school as my husband.  He was a missionary from Mexico, serving in the same closed country.  They met, fell in love, and got married.

In 2007, we were at our annual missions conference in Concord, NC.  We had the chance to talk with them.  We also had some Mexican pastors that were with us for the conference.  Wouldn't you know it?  Ivan (the husband) knew of our friends.  We also have some missionary friends in common from Guadalajara.  I think it's crazy that God took two people from different countries, yet the same hemisphere, moved them across the world, only for them to share their lives together and for us to meet in NC! 

I can't wait to spend time with them!  They have a sweet baby that I want to squeeze the stuffins out of.  This has been 3 years in the making.  And who knows how long it will be before we see each other again?  We are going to make the most of the time that we have!
