...I will enjoy going out into public with my entire family again.
I was talking with a friend the other day about how I just don't enjoy going out with all of my kids. The older 2 are peaches. It's those pesky younger 2 that are walking/crawling grenades. The youngest uses high-pitched screaming as a means of communication to get more food. It doesn't matter if he has just eaten. If we're eating, he wants to eat. Nothing out of the ordinary for babies, but it's really high-pitched. Imagine how high-pitched you could get and take it up about 10 more octaves. Food ends up all over the floor and my food is cold by the time I can eat it. #3 is just as demanding only he knows how to say my name. Instead of screaming, I get "Mommy. Mommy. Mom. Mom. Mommy. Mommy." Even when I respond, he still says it over and over. Really, life is just easier if I stay home and get take-out.
I know that this is a season. It will get better and better as time goes on. But for now, this is my life.
