I haven't given up on blogging...

I really haven't felt like writing anything. But I guess I will give an update.

Yesterday was 6 weeks since Chuck died. There are good & bad days, but nothing depressing.

I am 31 weeks along and will be induced just a few days after school starts for my kids in August. That should be fun (said with sarcasm). My princess has decided to name the baby "Bob" and she calls him that. I hope that she quickly adjusts to his real name after he's born.

We went to Hilton Head last week and stayed in a friend's house. The Gaskins are some family friends that I've known for as long as I can remember. They have really been there for us over the years, and during this time since Chuck died. It was such a blessing for them to allow us to stay in their house in Hilton Head. The kids are beach bums and had a blast. S stayed in the water the entire time we were at the beach. We played putt-putt for the first time with the kids and they loved that, as well. D took the kids for bike rides and they saw alligators, huge fish, and other fun stuff. It was a wonderful time of relaxation and fun for our family. There are a couple of pictures below. My Mexican is as cute and mobile as ever. He doesn't take a bottle anymore. I'm not really a stickler about babies not having bottles after a certain age. But all of his bottles started leaking, so I just tossed them and went to sippy cups. I didn't want to spend more money on bottles when I knew that he wouldn't have them for too much longer. He's doing great with his sign language and his verbal language. He definitely says "Da-da", "bye-bye", "this", "more", and "wuff-wuff" for "dog". He ate sand at the beach and apparently liked it because he ate it again. He dances whenever he hears music and cries when the music stops.

I am hot all of the time. I freeze my kids out of the car. I even turn their vents in the back towards me in the front. I know that he needs to mature a little bit more, but I am so ready to see this little man and to be comfortable.
