I am in serious nesting mode. I will shortly be driving my husband insane. Me nesting while pregnant means that he has to move the heavy boxes/things around. I'm getting ready to do a driveway sale. My friend & fellow missionary, Kathy, is the mack-mama at many things. She told me that she has Erika, our beloved cleaning lady that has been put on hold this past month, to run the sale and then she pays her out of that. I am going to take her up on her fabulous idea. I have clothes that, while they are cute, by the time I would have the chance to fit in them again would be seriously out of style. I also have a lot of sweaters. Sweaters aren't really my thing. Here, they wear sweaters when it's 70 degrees out. So bye-bye sweaters.
In case you don't know me that well, I could've hosted the show "Clean Sweep" where they help people clean out their messy homes. My typical rule of thumb is that if you haven't looked at it or used it in a year, you don't need it. Now there are some things that rule doesn't apply to, like baby clothes, books, & other random stuff. But that's my typical rule.
It's that time of year again. The time of year where it gets dryer & dryer and hotter & hotter. For those of you that read my blog last year you remember that I was huge & pregnant & way more miserable than I am this time around. I'm not huge & pregnant this year, just pregnant. Thank God for lots of ice water and our A/C unit.
I have my first doctor's appointment here on Thursday evening. I am looking forward to meeting this new doctor that was used by Kathy, Kelley, Lisa, & Melody (all fellow missionary moms & friends). I also hope that we can schedule an ultrasound in a few weeks so that we can find out the sex of the baby. We are actually going to keep something a secret this time around. We are not going to tell the baby's name. For those of you that thought our girl's name was Isabel, sorry...we changed our minds and threw that out. We've never kept secrets about our kids' sex and/or name. This time we are going to do it. Going out with a bang :-).
