Everyone in the house is coughing now. Yippee (said with a sarcastic thumbs up).
This past week the director of our mission's organization, Dr. Peters, and his wife, Ms. Tobi, and our missionary "father", S.J. Hill, came to do some team ministry. We stayed at the YWAM base in Chapala, which is a city about 30 minutes outside of Guadalajara. The YWAM base there is wonderful and they were so great to us! The 2 older kids stayed with our friends, Jeremiah & Kelley. The baby accompanied us to the base. He had a tough time sleeping at night, but he did great during the day. His naps were conveniently around the same time as most of our sessions. I really enjoyed seeing the Peters and S.J. It is such an honor to have them as our covering and our mentors. We have learned so much from them over the past 11 years.
We have been propositioned by our neighbors to teach their kids English. We are praying about it. It will take a lot of time and we will have to remain on a very consistent schedule. I think it will be beneficial on both sides, our kids and theirs, because our kids will hear Spanish from them and they will hear English from ours...if we decide to do it. So if you feel lead to, please join us in praying about this.
