We are home! After a 12-hour drive through an overcast Mexico, we made it. We came home to no power, but my MacGyver husband took care of that and we have power. The satellite didn't work, either. Paid bill and everything, just not working. It is now, though. Hmmm, there are a few other kinks but nothing worth mentioning in detail.
I'm dang tired and going to sleep now that everyone knows that we made it home safely.
