We took the kids to Build-A-Bear for their Christmas present. It took us a while to get around to it. They really enjoyed it! Our oldest son's bear is named "Cafe", Spanish for brown/coffee. He picked his bear because it is very soft. Our daughter's bear is named "Sprinkles". She picked her bear because it was pink...DUH. Her bear also has magnets in its hands and cheeks to either hug or blow kisses. Super sweet! We did not do a bear for the baby. We are going to wait until he is old enough to pick out his own, special, lifetime bear-pal.
Christy Update: She's still in the hospital. She's getting a feeding tube in her side tomorrow. She is being weaned off of a certain medicine, and then, hopefully she will come home.

You are so right, they really are Lifetime Pals. My kids L-O-V-E their critters! And...I would not have thought Abi would have chosen anything other than that PINK bear...and the name...of course! So glad they had fun!
Logan has a build-a-bear that Syd and one of her friends made for him. They put a sound thing in it for him, telling him they loved him. I need to get it out and let them listen to it. :)
That looks like so much fun. It came along after mine were too old, but it looks great. Hope Christy is home soon.
