Update on Chila the Dog...

We were on our way to the vet today, to talk to him about our options with Chila. Our vet is across the street from the language school that we attended. We were going to go up to visit them, but they do not have school today. So Derrick just decided to call Pastor Moises (a very good friend and teacher at the Spanish school) to see if he knew of any options before we went to the vet. His son, Moi Jr., answered the phone. He said to bring Chila on over to his house and they will find a family in one of their churches that will adopt her! We were so thrilled to hear that. We know Pastor Moises, his family, and his churches very well. All we can say about them, and the people in their congregations, is that they are all jewels from heaven. We had no problem whatsoever entrusting Chila to Moi's family and eventually a family in the church. The kids totally understand and aren't even acting fazed by it.

So for all of you that were concerned about the fate & well-being of Chila, know that she is in good hands!
